Samsung today fulfilled its promise to show the most powerful Galaxy device so far, with the unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event of two new mobile devices: Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360.
The Galaxy Book Pro is a regular laptop, while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with a switchable touchscreen, and they can be initially ordered today, and they will be shipped on May 14th.
Galaxy Book Pro 360 prices start at $ 1,000 and go up to $ 1,100, while Galaxy Book Pro 360 prices start at $ 1,200 and go up to $ 1,300.
These devices incorporate some of the latest mobile technology on the market today, including 11th generation Intel processors and 5G connectivity, along with design and build quality.
And the new laptop computers passed the strict military tests, so they are durable and can be used in a variety of environments.
The Galaxy Book Pro contains a standard AMOLED screen from Samsung, while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 contains what the company calls a Super AMOLED screen.
Samsung explains that these screens produce less blue light than standard LCD panels, and the intelligent color engine adjusts the color calculation based on the task at hand, so colors may be clearer while watching a movie and more realistic while adjusting images.
There is also a new S Pen stylus with the Galaxy Book Pro 360, which is 2.5 times thicker compared to the S Pen that comes with the Galaxy Book Flex for 2019, and Samsung says: This provides a more realistic writing experience.
All four models of the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 come with the latest 11th generation Intel processors, and include Dolby Atmos speakers, with sound designed by AKG.
And none of the Galaxy Book Pro models comes with a discrete GPU, so this device isn't aimed at creative professionals.
All four of these models come with either Core i5 or Core i7, and they all include Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, and there is no separate GPU option available.
The 13-inch Galaxy Book Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
While the device comes with a screen measuring 15 inches with a capacity of 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
You can get both sides of Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB-A 3.2, single audio and microSD port, and the 15-inch device adds an HDMI port as well.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with either 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM, and the 13-inch version gets up to 512 GB of storage while the 15-inch version can get up to 1 TB.
