The OTA update is referred to as V12.5.3.0.RJBCNXM and V12.5.3.0.RJACNXM and is slightly over 4 GB in size . Of course, we can count on Android 11 and March security patches. Although the designation does not correspond much, MIUI 12.5 is a relatively big jump compared to version 12. The system is much better tuned and reduces RAM usage by 20% and has 25% lower power consumption.
As already mentioned, the update is currently only in China and Xiaomi is currently testing it. But the good news is that it has already been published, and we know from the past that it does not take too long for a Chinese company to extend the update to other countries.
