Amazon revealed new updates for the Echo Sow devices, as the company launched the second generation of the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5 devices, with a special version for children of Echo Show 5.
The new version of the Echo Show 8 device is launched with a distinctive 13-megapixel camera and a 110-degree field of view, as in the Echo Show 10 device, and this version also supports tracking the user's movement to support the user with a better experience in video calls.
The new generation of the Echo Show 5 device also comes with improvements in the distinctive 2-megapixel camera, but this version does not support the user movement tracking provided in the Echo Show 8.
The Echo Show 8 also comes with an eight-core processor upgrade, with new software that realizes the user's entry into the room so that the device activates pre-set actions from the user, including lighting the room, for example, or starting the connected smart devices.
On the other hand, Amazon does not make changes to the distinctive design of the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5 devices, and the main specifications of the devices are compatible with previous Echo releases.
It is decided that the new devices will be available in white and gray colors, that the Echo Show 8 will start at $ 130, while the Echo Show 5 comes at $ 85, and the special version for children will start at $ 95.
