Now you can download the trial version of Android 12

After three developer reviews, the first beta version of Android 12 from Google is available for download today.

Google detailed the latest version of its mobile operating system on the first day of its annual I / O 2021 developer conference.

And as expected, Android 12 includes a major visual overhaul, as the company has redesigned nearly every element of the Android user interface to make it more customizable using the new Material You design language.

And when you set a new wallpaper, Android 12 automatically covers nearly every element of the operating system, including things like notifications and volume controls, to match the dominant and complementary colors displayed.

Google has redesigned the system animation and modified the Quick Settings menu to add Google Pay and key controls.

The new user interface arrives first on Google Pixel devices, and as part of the UI overhaul, Google says it has managed to make Android more efficient at the same time.

The company explains that phones running the Android 12 operating system will be faster and more responsive and make better use of their batteries thanks to the optimal use of the CPU.

Security and privacy represent the second pillar of Google for Android 12, as the update brings a new dashboard that includes a timeline of all data accessed by apps installed on your phone.

In addition to giving you this information at a glance, the dashboard allows you to revoke app permissions.

And just like in iOS 14, you also see small indicators at the top of the screen when an app accesses the phone's camera, microphone, or both.

However, you can also block both components for all apps by turning them off in the redesigned Quick Settings menu.

And when it comes to location services, Android 12 allows you to provide apps only with your approximate location.

Apart from those user-facing features, Google introduces a concept called Android Private Computer Core, which deals with all languages and audio processing features such as Live Caption and Now Play, across the device.

Google says: More features are coming to Android 12 later this year as we get closer to the general release of the update.

Meanwhile, you can try the beta version across specific devices from 11 manufacturers, including Google, Nokia, Asus, Oppo, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.
