Facebook launches its first smartwatch with two cameras

Facebook plans to market its first smartwatch in the summer of 2022. Like most watches on the market, the accessory will be equipped with a heart rate monitor and plenty of sports tracking features, and unlike the Apple Watch, the Facebook smartwatch will offer cellular connectivity that makes it easier to do without the smartphone.

Most surprisingly, the Facebook-connected watch will be equipped with two cameras, and the first, located on the front side near the touch screen, will allow video calls using communication and messaging services, such as Messenger and WhatsApp.

On the back, it will include a 1080p autofocus camera, which can be separated from the stainless steel watch frame, and this removable sensor will allow you to take pictures for sharing via Instagram and Facebook.

This detachable camera can also be able to be attached to a backpack, or other everyday objects.

Finally, The Verge confirms that the future Facebook Watch will be available in black, white and gold, and is priced around $400.
