Honor reveals the launch date of the Honor 50 series


The Chinese company, Honor, revealed the launch date of the Honor 50 series of phones, without revealing the full specifications that it will come with. The company said that the series will be unveiled on June 16, during a conference in Shanghai, China.

The company also posted a video on the Chinese Weibo website giving a glimpse of the Honor 50 series, without revealing any specifications other than a quick snapshot of the dual camera design. Honor has not yet revealed the full specifications of the Honor 50 series, but it has previously confirmed that the standard version in the series will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor.

It is likely that the Pro version will also be powered by the same processor, while the Pro Plus version will be powered by the "Snapdragon 888" processor. As for the rest of the specifications of the “Pro Plus” version, the phone will come with a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to 8 GB of random memory, and an internal memory of 128 GB.

The Honor 50 Pro Plus phone will also be launched with the Magic UI 4.0 interface, and the phone is scheduled to be launched with the “Snapdragon 888” processor. The phone will come with a large 4400 mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

It will have a dual front camera (32 megapixels + 8 megapixels), and on the back the phone has a 50 megapixel primary camera paired with a 13 megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8 megapixel telephoto camera and a 3D ToF module.
