Realme offers more than twenty phones that support 5G networks by the end of 2022

With its third anniversary approaching, Realme held a 5G conference in partnership with the GSM Association, Qualcomm, and Counterpoint Research where it outlined its plans to make the 5G network available to millions of users around the world.

During the keynote, the company announced its goal of reaching 100 million active 5G smartphones by 2024 and also plans to expand its 5G offerings by 70% across 50 markets early next year.

Affordable 5G devices will continue to be the focus of the brand with the goal of fetching a Realme 5G phone at around $100 in the coming years. Realme also revealed its plans to launch two new versions of the GT range with a performance-focused flagship rendering for the first time later this month while the main camera will be launched in July.

Realme will dedicate up to 90% of its R&D resources, or about $300 million, to developing 5G products over the next two years and will establish seven 5G R&D centers across Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America.
