Samsung begins mass production of Galaxy Z Fold 3 components

A new report issued by Winfuture.de indicated that Samsung has started mass production of peripheral components for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the new development indicates that the Korean company may plan to launch the phone in the coming months.

The publication reported that the company plans to produce the Z Fold 3 in limited quantities, as the initial quantities are said to represent about a third of what the company usually produces for its other devices. This may be because Samsung smartphones with foldable screens come at a high price compared to their regular smartphones with regular screens. The company will gradually increase the production of the Z Fold 3 units.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to be the first Samsung phone with an in-display camera, and it's also likely to be the company's first foldable phone with S Pen support.

Reports revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will feature a 6.2-inch S-AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz with a secondary foldable S-AMOLED screen of 7.5 inches with QHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The phone may be powered by a Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 888+ processor, and it may provide up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage capacity.

The back may have a 12MP + 12MP + 12MP triple camera with a 10MP front camera, in addition to a 4,400mAh battery that may support 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
