Apple is heading in the future to introduce iPads with larger screens

This year Apple launched the new iPads equipped with the M1 chip: the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and the size of the ideal tablet has always been a debatable topic, a topic that saw the emergence of tablets across a range of Screen sizes launched in the market, ranging from 8 inches to 12.9 inches.

For the upcoming iPad, Apple may have decided to go ahead with the bigger screen method, as Mark Gurman claimed in Bloomberg's "Power On" newsletter. Apple has engineers and designers exploring the larger form factor, Gurman claims in the newsletter.  These new iPads are still a few years away from release, "a few years on the road at the earliest.

But will screens ever get larger than 12.9 inches? \

A screen of 13 inches or more will make the device more likely to be preferred by customers who buy it primarily for use as a laptop, meaning that investing in the Magic Keyboard will also cost them more.

The best-selling iPad in the first quarter of 2021 was the 8th-generation 10.2-inch iPad, according to a report by Counterpoint Research, and according to Counterpoint Chief Analyst Liz Lee, "core iPad models made up 56% of the total. iPad shipments in the first quarter of 2021.

The tablets that came in second and third were the iPad Air and iPad Pro series, with 19% and 18%, respectively. With consumers constantly concerned about price and portability, the latest iPad 8 emerged as the best-selling model.
