Leaks indicate that the Snapdragon 895 chip may be based on a 4nm resolution

The latest leaks today indicated that Qualcomm may develop the upcoming Snapdragon 895 processor chip with a manufacturing process based on 4nm accuracy. Qualcomm had presented the Snapdragon 865 with the N7P manufacturing process from TSMC, which is characterized by the second generation of 7 nm manufacturing accuracy, while Qualcomm turned to the Samsung manufacturing process in the Snapdragon 888, and the new Snapdragon 888 Plus processor was also based on Samsung's manufacturing process with a precision of 5 nm.

In a report published by Ice Universe, it was revealed that the next generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 chipset will come with Samsung's 4nm manufacturing process, while the upgrade will come at the end of next year, Snapdragon 895 Plus, with a 4nm TSMC manufacturing process.

Samsung and TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process is an upgrade to the current 5nm manufacturing process, and the 4nm chipset is expected to support performance improvements, with lower power consumption.

Qualcomm is also expected to follow the same schedule in which it launches new chips this year, so it is expected that the Snapdragon 895 chip will be revealed between December and January, while the Snapdragon 895 Plus will be launched in an event to be held in the second half of next year.
