OnePlus Nord 2 poses on a new teaser poster

There are a few days left before we get to see the OnePlus Nord 2 in all its glory. Ahead of its July 22 launch, the mid-range OnePlus has appeared in a new poster showcasing its rear panel. OnePlus India has reiterated on Twitter that the Nord 2 will debut on July 22 at 7:30 pm Indian Standard Time. The company also shared a teaser poster that showcases the entire design of the back of the smartphone. Interestingly, the smartphone is outwardly identical to the flagship OnePlus 9 smartphone.

It has a vertical rear camera module with three rear cameras, just like the OnePlus 9. The only difference between the two phones is that the third lens is offset to the left on the Nord, and next to the LED flash. The OnePlus 9 has an LED flash in-between the two top sensors.

It seems to have a slightly protruding camera island and OnePlus branding in the center. It also has curved corners, again like the OnePlus 9. In addition, the price and color scheme of the smartphone was recently revealed. The phone is supposed to sell for a starting price of £ 31,999 (~ $ 450) for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will retail for up to £ 34,999 (~ $ 470) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It is expected to come in two colors - Blue Haze and Gray Sierra.

In terms of specs, the OnePlus Nord 2 will have a 6.43-inch punch-hole display with Full-HD + resolution. It has a 90Hz refresh rate and a thin bezel design. The smartphone is expected to sport a triple rear camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP monochrome device.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will have a 4500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge technology. OnePlus recently confirmed that the phone will run OxygenOS and will only receive two major Android updates.
