Premium Zepp Z Smartwatch with Alexa Voice Assistant Announced in India

Amazfit has been in the Indian market for three years, and to celebrate the success, Zepp, the Huami subsidiary that owns Amazfit, has announced its first Zepp-branded smartwatch, dubbed Zepp Z, in the Indian market. Zepp Z is a premium smartwatch with over 50 watch faces and an Alexa voice assistant.

The Zepp Z watch is priced at £ 25,999, roughly $ 350, and will go on sale from July 20th in India. It's cheaper than the Chinese price of 2699 Yuan (~ $ 417). But please note that there is ECG support in the Chinese version, which is not in the Indian version.

The Zepp Z smartwatch has a round dial with a 1.39-inch color display and a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. It's an AMOLED touch panel with a maximum brightness of 500 nits and 326 ppi. The screen has 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The smartwatch has over 50 dials and three buttons on the right. It comes with several sensors such as a heart monitoring sensor, an oxygen level monitoring sensor, and is also equipped with a stress and sleep monitor.

It has 90 sports modes and supports GPS. Its main highlight is the support for the Alexa voice assistant, which also works offline. Alexa assistant supports 58 voice commands for hands-free operation.

Finally, the smartwatch has a 340mAh battery that is said to last up to 15 days. It can be fully charged using the magnetic wireless charger in 2.5 hours.
