Max Weinbach, the renowned resource XDA Developers editor, said that Samsung's two new foldable smartphones from Samsung will meet the IPX8 rating. This means that they will be able to withstand prolonged immersion in water. At the same time, X means that the smartphone has not been tested for protection against particulate matter and dust.
Samsung has announced that it has started accepting pre-orders for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones. In doing so, the company gives people the opportunity to swap up to two devices for one of the future foldable phones, receiving an even bigger discount.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to have a 6.5-inch internal screen, a 7.5-inch foldable display, a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a triple camera, and support for stylus control. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will have a 6.7-inch foldable screen, 1.9-inch lid display, Snapdragon 888, dual camera, and compact size.
The presentation of new products will take place on August 11, as Vera informed Samsung.
