Apple is preparing to launch a MacBook Air with a Mini-LED screen and a new design in 2022

The latest reports confirmed Apple's plans to launch a new version of the MacBook Air in mid-2022, with this version coming with a new design and an upgraded Mini-LED screen from BOE. Analyst “Ming-Chi Kuo” revealed in a report recently published about Apple’s plans to launch a MacBook Air with a new design and a number of choices in colors next year, provided that this version features a screen that comes with a Mini-LED backlight.

Kuo also explained that the MacBook Air comes with a completely new design, with the same design language presented in the upcoming MacBook Pro devices, and that these devices also include Mini LED screens and a flat design on the top and bottom edges as well.

It is scheduled that the new versions of the MacBook Air will come with the new generation of Apple M2 processor chips, and the devices also support the MagSafe system through a power cable that supports the devices.

The report also confirmed Apple's plans to stop production of the MacBook Air featuring the M1 chip when mass production of the new Mini LED screens began.
