Apple postpones launch of FaceTime co-viewing feature

Apple is preparing for the autumn release of the next versions of its operating systems; testing of new operating systems for smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, set-top boxes, and computers is already underway.

The iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and tvOS 15 beta sixth notes state that FaceTime SharePlay is disabled for future beta releases, and will not be available for use when the updates are initially launched this fall.

Since SharePlay is temporarily disabled, Apple is offering developers an alternative testing tool.

The SharePlay function allows you to transfer images from the screen to your interlocutors during a FaceTime call, watch TV shows or movies together, listen to music, and so on.
