Honor has released an official statement of partnership with the IMAX Corporation and DTS to make the Honor Magic3 compliant with the IMAX Enhanced program. The IMAX Enhanced Home Entertainment Licensing and Certification Program, announced in September 2018, is designed to ensure that the device you use and the content you watch provides the best picture and sound quality.
To receive the IMAX Enhanced logo, the highest-end TVs, projectors, soundbars and receivers must meet stringent performance standards set by leading IMAX, DTS and Hollywood colourists. Honor claims the Magic3 will be the first smartphone to feature IMAX Enhanced, guaranteeing the best picture and sound quality possible.
The presentation of Honor Magic3 is scheduled for August 12th.
