Intel is preparing a reference model NUC X15 with powerful graphics cards

Intel NUC mini PCs are well known. But there is much less information about Intel NUC laptops. The company does not release such PCs under its own brand but offers reference devices to partners who then simply use their brands. So it will be with the new NUC X15, codenamed King County.

These PCs will become available to Intel partners later this year. There will be several modifications. For example, a 15-inch display might be Full HD at 240Hz, or it could be QHD at 144Hz. The heart will be a Core i7-11800H or Core i5-11400H. It is also known about two PCIe slots for SSD, with one of the slots being PCIe 4.0. Also in the asset will be Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 2.0b, and DisplayPort 1.4.

As for the graphics subsystem, everything will be fine. The choice will be given to GeForce RTX 3060 or RTX 3070, that is, we are talking about full-fledged gaming laptops.
