Intel now has a direct competitor to GeForce and Radeon

Intel has unveiled a new brand for future consumer graphics solutions. The brand is called Arc.

The first Arc-branded product will be the Alchemist line of graphics cards, which we now know as DG2 or Xe-HPG. Recall that the line will include several adapters based on two GPUs. The older one, presumably, will be able to compete with the GeForce RTX 3060 or RTX 3070.

Intel also revealed the codenames for other upcoming Arc brand products: Battlemage, Celestial and Druid. So far, there is nothing to say about them, but Intel has once again confirmed that the first DG2 gaming video cards, that is, Arc Alchemist, will be released early next year.
