Intel's new Alder Lake platform will debut in the fall with six models of processors

A well-known insider has published a list of six new generations of Intel Alder Lake processors. Apparently, it is with these six models that the new platform will debut this fall. This is a common Intel practice: usually, the most powerful processors and the top-end chipset (in this case, the Z690) come out first, and after a few months - the mid-range CPU and other cheaper chipsets.

Based on the informant's data (it is related to the motherboard manufacturers, so the data is usually confirmed), the Alder Lake platform will debut with six CPUs: Core i9-12900K, Core i9-12900KF, Core i7-12700K, Core i7-12700KF, Core i5 -12600K and Core i5-12600KF. These are the most powerful and, of course, the most expensive processors in the line, and their TDP level is the highest - 125W.

At the same time, a new result of the Core i7-12700 test appeared in the Geekbench database, and this time the Core i7-12700 processor performed better than the Ryzen 7 5800X, although the previous result was not encouraging. The new results are 1740 points in a single-threaded test and 11,664 points in a multi-threaded one. Obviously, as they bring Alder Lake to marketable condition, their performance will increase.
