The company has updated the Google Photos app by adding the Your Memories widget to devices that run Android 10, 11, and 12.
After the update, you will be able to select "Your Memories" in the list of widgets. It allows you to “rediscover moments from Google Photos” and is 2 x 2 in size, that is, takes the place of four icons. The widget can be expanded to full screen, although the corners will be rounded.
The date is displayed centered at the bottom, and photo collections created by the widget are displayed with headings aligned to the left. In the first case, when you click, the full image will open, and in the second, a selection of photos for a specific event will start.
Google Photos 5.53 update with the new widget is already available for most smartphones. If you can't find the widget, you can force close the Google Photos app and re-launch it.
