New smartphone Xiaomi 11 Lite NE will receive SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 778GB

The source reports that Xiaomi is preparing to release a new smartphone codenamed Lisa, which is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778GB SoC.

It is reported that this smartphone should come out under the market name Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE, but it is not yet known what the letters NE in the name mean. The original Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite smartphone was built on the Snapdragon 780G SoC.

The Snapdragon 778G mobile platform is manufactured using a 6nm manufacturing process by TSMC. This platform includes eight Kryo 670 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and a 40% improvement in processor performance over the previous generation. The Adreno 642L GPU also delivers a 40% performance boost.

In terms of AI performance, the Snapdragon 778G features a sixth-generation Qualcomm AI processor (Hexagon 770), which is double the performance of the previous generation processor.

It is reported that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE will be released in the second half of the year. Considering the information about Xiaomi 's refusal from the Mi brand in the names of new smartphones , the device should be called Xiaomi 11 Lite NE.
