Nokia unveils its cheapest 5G smartphone


The official promo video posted on the Instagram account of Nokia Mobile France showed the most affordable Nokia phone with 5G support, due out under the name Nokia G50 5G. An Instagram post confirms that the Nokia G50 5G will offer incredible battery life and will support fifth-generation networks. The main camera will use a 48-megapixel image sensor.

The company has confirmed that the Nokia G50 5G will be available in Blue and Midnight Sun colors. On the front side of the device is a waterdrop-shaped cutout for the front camera, and on the back, there is a circular camera with three modules and an LED flash.

Earlier it was reported that the Nokia G50 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. It will be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as 4GB / 128GB of storage. The operating system will be Android 11.

Nokia Mobile is the official partner of the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die, which is scheduled to premiere on 28 September. It is likely that the Nokia G50 5G could debut around that time.
