Realme 8i: The first smartphone based on Helio G96

Last month, MediaTek officially unveiled the Helio G96 SoC, which should be used in the Realme 8i smartphone for the first time. Now the source has published high-quality renders and images of this device.

The Realme 8i is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch FHD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch in the upper left corner of the screen for a 16MP front-facing camera.

The main camera in a rectangular block includes the main image sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, as well as two additional modules with a resolution of 2 megapixels. The company's single-chip system MediaTek Helio G96 will be 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

The smartphone is credited with a plastic case and a 5000 mAh battery. The phone weighs 194g and is 8.6mm thick. The power button has a built-in fingerprint scanner, and at the bottom, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack next to the USB-C port.

The renders were created by Steve Hammerstoffer, who runs a Twitter page under the nickname OnLeaks. For several years, he regularly publishes renders of new products based on leaked blueprints.
