Realme Book Slim presented


Realme today officially unveiled its first laptop - it was named Realme Book Slim. The body of the device is really quite thin - 14.9 mm, and the weight is small for a 14-inch model - 1.38 kg. True, the version with 16 GB of RAM is slightly heavier, 1.48 kg. The case of Realme Book Slim is all-metal.

The laptop received a high-quality IPS display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, occupying 90% of the front panel area. It has a peak brightness of 400 cd / m2. and a maximum contrast ratio of 1500: 1, coverage of 100% of the sRGB color space is also claimed.

Realme Book Slim is presented in two versions: basic - with a dual-core CPU Core i3-1115G4, top-end - with a quad-core Core i5-1135G7. Both are paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, but this is in the Indian variant, while in China the maximum RAM is 16GB. The basic version supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, is equipped with two ports USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1, in the top-end - Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 interface, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and USB-A 3.1 Gen 1.

Realme Book received a cooling system with two fans and two copper heat pipes. The capacity of a standard rechargeable battery is 54 Wh, the maximum autonomy is 11 hours. The laptop supports charging with a power of 65 W, there is also fast charging - in 30 minutes by 50%.

Realme Book Slim ships with pre-installed Windows 10, in the future an upgrade to Windows 11 is promised. Prices for the Indian market are as follows (since the exchange rates of the rupee and the ruble against the dollar are almost the same, for convenience we give the cost in rubles): Realme Book Slim Core i3 - 47,000 rubles, Realme Book Slim Core i5 - 60,000 rubles. In India, sales start on August 30th.
