The Indonesian branch of Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Note 10 is "sold out" in the local market. Considering that this has not happened before with smartphones of this price category, no matter how hit they are, the opinion arose that the stop of sales of Redmi Note 10 happened not because of high demand, but because of a shortage of devices in warehouses due to a shortage of chips.
Instead of Redmi Note 10, buyers are advised to look at other models of the line - Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 5G, and Redmi Note 10S. But it is not excluded that these models may be affected by the deficit. It is also possible that the shortage of Redmi Note 10 may be observed in other markets. There is no consensus regarding the shortage of chips in the industry: while some believe that it will last at least until the end of the year, others talk about its imminent end due to efforts to eliminate it, applied in different countries.
