There is new information about the performance of the Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC, which is equipped with an AMD GPU. The GPU of this SoC, codenamed Voyager, is reported to use AMD's RDNA2 microarchitecture, which is used in the next-generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
In particular, the source cites the results of fresh testing of the new platform in the GFXBench benchmark. The Samsung Exynos 2200 single-chip system achieved 170.7 fps in the Manhattan 3.1 test at 1080p. At the same time, Snapdragon 888 and Apple A14 Bionic in this test demonstrate the performance of about 120 fps. The Exynos 2200 scores in the Aztec Normal and Aztec High School tests were 121.1 and 51.5 fps, respectively.
Earlier it was reported that the Samsung Exynos 2200 will be equipped with a 6-core GPU. The Exynos 2200 CPU should use a new generation three-cluster architecture. The mobile platform will receive a Cortex-X1 super-core, three Cortex-A78 cores, and four small Cortex-A55 cores.
Samsung Exynos 2200 can be used not only in smartphones but also in tablets and laptops, as has been reported many times.
