Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G presented

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone - Galaxy A52s 5G. The novelty replaces last year's Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

The main technical change is the SoC - Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G instead of Snapdragon 750G 5G. The new SoC is noticeably superior to its predecessor in both performance and energy efficiency. In appearance, there is only one difference - a new mint color of the case.

The smartphone received a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen with a Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, an embedded 32-megapixel front camera, a quadruple main camera (64, 12, 5, and 5 megapixels), 4500 mAh battery with support for 25W charging, water-resistant (IP67), stereo speakers, under-screen fingerprint scanner and NFC.

The operating system Android 11 with the proprietary OneUI 3.1 shell is installed on the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is available in mint, purple, white, and black. Pricing has so far been announced for the UK only - £ 410 ($ 563) for the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal flash storage. Acceptance of pre-orders will begin on August 24, and open sales will start on September 3.
