Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: There will be practically no difference with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

According to GalaxyClub.nl, the new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive the same telephoto lenses as installed in the Galaxy S21 Ultra. One of the two lenses will be periscope and offer 10x optical zoom.

What's more, it looks like both telephoto lenses will get 10MP image sensors again, as was the case with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is not yet known what zoom factor the second model will offer, but the source believes that the zoom can be 3x, like the current flagship.

The source adds that such a decision by Samsung is quite understandable because those who buy the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra this year are unlikely to plan to buy the new flagship next year. However, when upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S10, users will see significant progress.

The source also confirms previous information that the Galaxy S22 and S22 + will have a 50MP main camera and a 12MP wide-angle camera. In addition, Samsung will add a 10MP front-facing camera to the two models.

The presentation of the line is expected early next year.
