Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with standard headphone jack and microSD card slot shown in renders

A well-known resource that regularly publishes renders of unreleased and not officially presented smartphones, presented high-quality images of the possible flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - and with features that many would like to see. The renders were prepared by graphic designer Jermaine Smit, also known as Concept Creator.

In general, the design of the possible Galaxy S22 Ultra is made in the spirit of the current model. More rounded edges, a protrusion appeared on the back panel in the upper part, where the camera block is located. But in general, Samsung's flagship is well recognized: it is possible that the serial Galaxy S22 Ultra will look something like this. In the end, if Samsung is not planning any revolutions on the technical side, then they are unlikely to occur in the external design.

But the presence of a 3.5 mm jack for connecting conventional wired headphones and support for microSD memory cards is exclusively the author's imagination. Despite the fact that users would clearly welcome the opportunity to expand memory very cheaply or connect a high-quality inexpensive headset, Samsung itself is unlikely to dare to go back to basics. After all, the more connectors a smartphone has, the more difficult it is to provide IP68 protection against dust and water ingress.

The premiere of smartphones Samsung Galaxy S22 will take place early next year. According to the latest data, almost all countries will sell models built on the Qualcomm platform - the promising Snapdragon 898. And the version on its own SoC Exynos 2200, due to difficulties with its production, will be used in a very limited number of smartphones and only in certain markets. One of them is homemade.
