The well-known network informant under the nickname Ice Universe, who often shares exclusive information about the latest developments in the mobile industry, has published details about Samsung's new flagship tablets.
This time it became known that the entire line, which will be represented by three models (Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 +, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra) will support fast charging with a capacity of 45 W (4.5 A and 10 V).
Earlier it was reported that the Galaxy Tab S8 + runs under the model number SM-X806x and is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 10,090 mAh. It will be built on the basis of the Snapdragon 888 single-chip system. In this case, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with model number SM-X906x will receive a battery with a capacity of 11 550 mAh. New items will run One UI 4.0 based on Android 12.
The standard version of the Galaxy Tab S8 will receive an 11-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an 8000 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab S8 + is credited with a 12.4-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can get a 14.6-inch screen. All three models will support the S Pen and the new premium keyboard. Versions with support for Wi-Fi / LTE and 5G will appear on sale. Presumably, the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series will launch simultaneously in the first quarter of 2022.
Ice Universe has proven many times that it has contacts in Samsung's R&D department, being the first to report new image sensors, as well as various smartphones from Samsung, Xiaomi, and other companies.
