The Samsung WalkieTalkie application has been released on the Google Play store, which allows owners of new Samsung smartwatches to communicate with each other like a walkie-talkie. This app is for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 only, it does not support the company's previous watch models.
Samsung recommends launching the Walkie Talkie app for the first time while the watch is connected to your phone, although the app may work independently of your phone. All you have to do is pair your watch with your friend's smartwatch, and then you can hold down the microphone button to send a voice message.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is powered by the One UI Watch based on Wear OS 3, created in partnership with Google. The watch is equipped with the 5nm Exynos W920 single-chip system, which offers both good performance and long battery life. Google's redesigned smartwatch apps debuted on the Galaxy Watch 4 series, and you get all the apps from Samsung.
