The newest smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch4, despite the Wear OS operating system, will not have the Google voice assistant.
Instead, the watch will receive an assistant Samsung Bixby. At least this situation will be at the start. Samsung noted that it may add Google Assistant to its new products at a later date, but whether this will happen at all remains to be seen. Given the popularity of Bixby, many would probably prefer the search giant's voice assistant.
Samsung is working closely with Google to bring these popular Google services to the Galaxy Watch4 series. We'll share more details when they're ready.
In addition, Watch4 may remain without Google Pay support after the start of sales. Here Samsung itself did not say anything, but several journalists found that although the application is installed on the watch, it does not work. Perhaps Samsung will have time to fix the problem before the start of sales, but it is also possible that at first Google Pay will simply not work on the watch.
