The OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone was reviewed by the DxOMark laboratory, where experts evaluated its camera. Not bad considering the cost, but it could have been better.
Recall, Nord 2 received one of the flagship optical sensors from Sony - IMX 766. The same is installed, for example, in the OnePlus 9 Pro. But if the latter earned 124 points, then the novelty received only 116.
True, if we consider the assessment in more detail, then we can understand that everything is not so bad. The Nord 2 scored 125 and 105 points for photos and videos, respectively, while the OnePlus 9 Pro had 129 and 108 points. That is, the difference is small.
The main loss of the younger model is due to the capabilities of the ultra-wide-angle camera and especially the TV camera. To be more precise, the latter has no Nord 2 at all. Hence the low score.
As a result, it turns out that the Nord 2 is very good in terms of the capabilities of the main camera. It performs at the level of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 11. And given the noticeably lower price, if the user does not a require good camera and ultra-wide capabilities, the Nord 2 can be a good choice.
