The redesigned design of the future iPad mini was shown

Apple is expected to release a new compact iPad model in the fall - the sixth-generation iPad mini. Now, photos of an aluminum billet have appeared online, presumably showing the main design elements of the iPad mini 6.

The blank demonstrates what earlier rumors suggested - a larger screen with narrower bezels, no proprietary home button, a thinner body, and flatter edges.

Compared to the renders published in June by informant Jon Prosser, there is only one change - the volume buttons have moved to the opposite side of the power button.

Apparently, iPad mini‌ 6 will be made in the style of the updated iPad Air and iPad Pro - Apple will abandon the Home button in favor of increasing the screen size while maintaining the device's dimensions. Apple is unlikely to integrate Face ID into the iPad mini‌ 6, but the Touch ID fingerprint reader will likely be integrated into the power button, just like the iPad Air. The iPad mini‌ 6 is also expected to have a faster processor and possibly USB Type-C.
