Xiaomi called the only difference between Redmi 10 Prime and Redmi 10

Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, confirmed on his Twitter page that the new Redmi 10 Prime smartphone will be built on the same platform as Redmi 10. In addition, he confirmed, that the new phone will be very noticeably improved over last year's Redmi 9 Prime.

In fact, as expected, the Redmi 10 Prime will be an almost complete copy of the Redmi 9 for the Indian market with one important difference for many. The Redmi 10 Prime will not have an NFC module for contactless payments.

Recall that the original Redmi 10 is equipped with a 6.5-inch FullHD + display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 90 Hz. In the central upper part of the display there is a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main camera has a main image sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, as well as additional modules with a resolution of 8, 2 and 2 megapixels.

Redmi 10 runs the Android 11 operating system with MIUI 12 installed on top. The 5000 mAh battery supports 18-watt charging. The package includes a smartphone, charger, cable and protective case.

Redmi 10 Prime will be released on September 3, only the price of the device remains in question. The Chinese smartphone can be purchased until August 28 at a discounted price of $ 159 on Aliexpress with free shipping to Russia.
