Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, confirmed on his Twitter page that the new Redmi 10 Prime smartphone will be built on the same platform as Redmi 10. In addition, he confirmed, that the new phone will be very noticeably improved over last year's Redmi 9 Prime.
In fact, as expected, the Redmi 10 Prime will be an almost complete copy of the Redmi 9 for the Indian market with one important difference for many. The Redmi 10 Prime will not have an NFC module for contactless payments.
Recall that the original Redmi 10 is equipped with a 6.5-inch FullHD + display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 90 Hz. In the central upper part of the display there is a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.
