Xiaomi introduced the top-end second generation Mi TV Master Series OLED TV


Together with inexpensive OLED TVs Mi TV 6 OLED, Xiaomi today introduced a new device of the top Mi TV Master Series. In fact, this is the first model of the second generation Mi TV Master Series, it received a screen with a diagonal of 77 inches.

The Mi TV Master Series 77 OLED is the first Xiaomi TV to support UWB connectivity. Today the first smartphone of the company with support for UWB - Mi Mix 4 is presented. The technology allows you to instantly connect TV to a smartphone and exchange data, and in the future UWB will appear in other devices of the company. However, NFC is also supported by the TV, so connecting your smartphone to Mi TV Master Series 77 OLED is as easy as shelling pears.

The TV screen is characterized by 4K resolution - the device uses MIUI for TV firmware specially adapted for this resolution. The frame rate is 120 Hz, the brightness is 1000 cd / m2, the maximum contrast is 1500000: 1. The DeltaE value for any of the three color spaces (DCI-P3, Adobe RGB and BT.709) does not exceed two units. Color space coverage DCI-P3 - 98.5%.

The developers emphasize that the TV is compatible with modern game consoles - Xbox Series S and Series X in particular. Gamers will appreciate the presence of two HDMI 2.1 ports at once and support for Nvidia G-Sync frequency synchronization technology. Support for Dolby Vision and MEMC technologies is also announced.

Mi TV Master Series 77 OLED has a built-in 70W Harman Kardon speaker system. There is no built-in webcam, as in many of the latest generation TVs. The hardware platform of the novelty is a SoC with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 processor. It is paired with 8.5GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash storage.
