The first sale of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro took place a couple of weeks ago, and all 200,000 tablets were sold out very quickly. At the same time, there were not enough stylus and keyboards for tablets in stores. The company replenished stock in a few days, but the second batch was also immediately sold out.
The Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets are priced between $ 310 and $ 540. They received IPS screens with a diagonal of 11 inches, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies. The tablets run the Android 11 operating system with the MIUI for Pad shell. At the time of release, only 300 core apps are well optimized for MIUI for Pad. But by the end of the year, Xiaomi has adapted over 2,000 apps for MIUI for Pad.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is built on the basis of the Snapdragon 860 single-chip system, equipped with cameras with a resolution of 8 and 13 megapixels, an 8720 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging. The Mi Pad 5 Pro has the Snapdragon 870, an 8600mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
