After the premature announcement a few days ago, Xiaomi today held a full presentation of the new Redmi 10 smartphone for the international market.
The budget smartphone received the design of more expensive flagship models - a camera in the style of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and a front panel in the style of Redmi K40. At the same time, the price starts at $ 153. It is at this price that the model in the cheapest version is offered in Malaysia. The following prices have been announced for other regions:
- Redmi 10 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB flash storage - $ 179
- Redmi 10 with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB flash storage - $ 199
- Redmi 10 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage - $ 219
Open sales are due to begin on August 20, 2021. Available in gray, blue, and white body colors.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD display with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with an image refresh rate of 90 Hz, an embedded 8-megapixel front camera, the main quadruple-camera (50-megapixel main module, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle, 2-megapixel macro and 2 MP depth sensor).
The hardware basis is the MediaTek Helio G88 single-chip system. The 5000mAh battery supports 18W charging. Charging of other gadgets is noted, however, wired - with a power of 9 watts. The kit includes a 22.5W charger. There are also dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and NFC support.
