Xiaomi today released financial results for the second quarter of 2021. According to the manufacturer, revenues and profits have exceeded forecasts.
Revenue for the quarter was approximately 87.78 billion yuan, an increase of 64% year-on-year over the same period last year. Gross profit was approximately 15.14 billion yuan, up 96.7% from the first quarter of the previous year. Adjusted net income of approximately RMB 6.3 billion, up 87.4% year on year.
If we talk about the financial results for the first half of 2021 as a whole, the revenue amounted to about 164.67 billion yuan, which is 59.5% more than in the same period in 2020. Gross profit was close to 29.3 billion yuan, an increase of 92.1%. Finally, the adjusted net income was approximately 12.39 billion yuan. This indicator increased by 118.4% in comparison with the last half of the year.
