The Huawei P50 Pro smartphone has received a large camera unit, which consists of two rings that include multiple lenses. It is reported that the Huawei Mate 50 series could outperform the P50 Pro in terms of design and camera dimensions.
The resource Huawei Central, with a link to Weibo, has published a conceptual image of the Huawei Mate 50 smartphone, which will receive a new camera located in a large circle. Inside there will be two familiar rings, with the camera moving to the top center of the rear panel.
The upper block contains three image sensors, while the lower ring houses a fourth sensor and an LED flash. The author of the concept art suggests that the partnership between Huawei and Leica will continue next year, but this point has not yet been officially confirmed.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is expected to surpass the P50 Pro and may well top the DxOMark list of the best camera phones.
A trusted insider, Digital Chat Station, claims Huawei has access to two more Qualcomm SoCs in addition to the Snapdragon 888. These are Snapdragon 778G and the upcoming SM8450 (Snapdragon 898). The Huawei Mate 50 line should just be using DxOMark.
Also, according to rumors, Huawei Mate 50 will receive support for satellite communications.
