Akasa has unveiled an M.2 solid-state drive enclosure. Part number AK-ENU3M2-07 converts this drive into an external SSD with a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface with a bandwidth of 20 Gb / s. Installing the drive is done without the use of tools.
The case is made of aluminum and serves as a heatsink to remove excess heat from the drive. The package includes a thermal interface. The kit also includes a braided cable with USB-C connectors on both ends.
Sales of AK-ENU3M2-07 have already started at a price of 70 euros.
