Alphacool has unveiled the Eisblock Aurora water block for Galax and KFA2 RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3090 HOF video cards. It belongs to the category of full-coverage water blocks, dissipating heat not only from the GPU but also from other components.
In the description of the novelty, the manufacturer singles out “thinner, but more efficient thermal pads”. In addition, he claims that the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block has been reduced from 7mm to 5.5mm and the water flow has been optimized. This results in more efficient cooling of GPUs, memory chips and powerful voltage regulators in the power subsystem. The water block is adorned with addressable lighting.
