Amazon's most powerful set-top box, the Fire TV Stick 4K, unveiled

Last week, Amazon has unveiled the new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which plugs directly into the HDMI port. This is an updated version of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K released in 2018.

The manufacturer claims that this is its most powerful set-top box: Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K outperforms its predecessor in performance by 40%. Inside there is a single-chip system operating at 1.8 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, and there is also support for Wi-Fi 6.

The new set-top box has all the familiar Fire TV features, including an Alexa voice remote, access to the Amazon Appstore, and support for most streaming services. Amazon has also added support for the Luna gaming service via a new joystick, while Wi-Fi 6 and Auto Low Latency Mode are designed to enhance cloud gaming.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K Max will go on sale in the US starting October 7 for a retail price of $ 55.
