The second place is taken by Intel with 14%, Qualcomm is in third place with 10%, and the top five are closed by MediaTek and Samsung LSI. Analysts note that MediaTek was able to increase sales by 19%, outstripping the market for this indicator. MediaTek is expected to show record-high sales of tablet processors this year. Intel increased sales even more noticeably - by 22%. This was driven by strong demand for Windows tablets.
As for next year, analysts did not give a quantitative forecast, limiting themselves to predicting that the mobile computer market "will see significant activity from AMD, Apple, Google, Intel, MediaTek, Microsoft, Nvidia, Qualcomm and Samsung LSI."
