Apple promised to fix the iPhone 13 Pro camera

Most of the first iPhone 13 Pro reviewers noted that the smartphone automatically switches to the macro mode in the Camera app when a person approaches an object. Apple has promised to fix this in a future update.

The problem is that when switching to macro mode, there is no way for users to manually exit macro mode. The problem persists in both video mode and photo mode. However, you can change the settings using the "Lock Camera" option for the video mode. Unfortunately, this is not possible in photo modes.

So iPhone 13 Pro users will continue to experience this bug until Apple fixes it. The company said it is adding the new tweak to a software update due out this fall. And, as usual, Apple claims that this is not a bug, but a feature.

Reviewers generally liked the iPhone 13 Pro's camera. However, the problem with switching to macro mode annoys users. The issue is only seen on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max due to the ultra-wide-angle autofocus camera.
