ASUS Republic of Gamers Moonlight White line of gaming peripherals unveiled

ASUS has unveiled a new line of gaming peripherals under the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand name, "which conveys a minimalist monochrome feel with a vibrant Moonlight White color scheme." The lineup includes the ROG Strix Scope NX TKL 80% keyboard, ROG Strix Impact II mouse, ROG Strix Go Core headset, and ROG Cetra II Core in-ear headphones. According to the manufacturer, many players are also striving for a minimalist look, so it was decided to expand the ROG color palette with the Moonlight White series, which is a powerful analogue of the corporate red and black color scheme.

The ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White compact mechanical gaming keyboard features an "Xccurate design" featuring an extra-wide Control (Ctrl) key. The aluminum top keyboard uses ROG NX Red, Brown, or Blue switches with 45, 58, or 65 g actuation force and 1.8, 2.0, and 2.3 mm travel respectively. In the version with the US layout, there are 84 keys, for the UK - 85, for Japan - 87. The computer is connected via USB 2.0 using a detachable 1.8 m cable with USB-A and USB-C connectors. The polling rate is 1000 Hz. The keyboard measures 356 x 136 x 40 mm and weighs 830 g. It is decorated with RGB backlighting. Up to five presets can be stored in the built-in memory.

ROG Strix Impact II Moonlight White is equally good for both left and right grips, featuring a 6,200 DPI sensor, four-step resolution switch, five programmable buttons, and a scroll wheel. It is adorned with Aura RGB lighting. The left and right buttons use Omron switches with a 50 million-click life. A USB 2.0 interface is used to connect to a computer. The length of the soft rubber cable is 2 m. The sampling rate is 1000 Hz. With dimensions of 120 x 62.5 x 39.5 mm, the device weighs 79 g.

The ROG Strix Go Core Moonlight White Gaming Headset is compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and Nintendo Switch mobile devices and consoles using a 3.5mm cable. The headphones feature exclusive ASUS Essence 40mm drivers with sealed chambers, according to the manufacturer, delivering "incredibly rich, clear sound with optimized deep bass for total immersion." The range of reproducible frequencies is declared equal to 20-40,000 Hz, the impedance is 32 Ohm. The headset is complemented by a unidirectional boom microphone. Its frequency range extends from 100 to 10,000 Hz, and its sensitivity is -45 dB. The headset measures 205 x 190 x 54 mm and weighs 252 g.

The ROG Cetra II Core Moonlight White in-ear gaming headphones also use ASUS Essence drivers, but this time with a 9.4mm diameter, made from Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR). The reproducible frequency range is 20 - 40,000 Hz, the impedance is 32 Ohm. The built-in omnidirectional microphone has a sensitivity of -40 ± 3 dB and a frequency range of 50 - 10,000 kHz. For connection, as in the case of the ROG Strix Go Core Moonlight White, a cable with a 3.5 mm jack is used. The earbuds weigh 18 g, and their dimensions are described by the expression 15.5 x 15.5 x 27.8 mm.

The ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White keyboard is $ 120, the ROG Strix Impact II Moonlight White mouse is $ 50, the ROG Strix Go Core Moonlight White headset is $ 80, and the ROG Cetra II Core Moonlight White in-ear headphones are $ 60.
