Aurora OS beta testing program has started in Russia

The Open Mobile Platform company announced the launch of a public testing program for the domestic mobile operating system Aurora.

In August, OMP began accepting applications for participation in testing. Since then, more than 4000 applications have been received from developers, testers, IT specialists, company managers, and simply enthusiasts who are fond of mobile technologies.

In honor of the launch, a series of meetings are held in the Moscow office of the WMD, and all program participants are given mobile devices with a beta version of Aurora, a pre-installed set of standard applications, and the ability to install additional ones from the Aurora Market store. An extended introductory presentation showing Aurora's capabilities is being provided to everyone participating in the beta.

Tatiana Kaznova, Product Manager and Beta Program Manager, noted:

We are grateful to everyone who decided to become a member of the program and joined our community. For us, the Aurora mobile OS development team, it was very important to get such support and an understanding of how many people support us and our work. Unfortunately, we could not include everyone in the first September stage. But we will definitely notify you about the extension of the program. And, of course, we will invite you to an event as part of the beta program, where we will tell and show the Aurora OS live, answer all questions and share the news.
