Canon unveils RF16mm F2.8 STM lens

Nikon is not the only company that has pleased the owners of mirrorless cameras today with the announcement of a new lens. Canon has done this too, and at double the size: it introduced the full-frame RF16mm F2.8 STM and RF100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM lenses. This news will focus on the first of them. The main areas of application of the novelty include interior and landscape photography, as well as astrophotography. The lens will also come in handy for video shooting, which is facilitated by the silent and smooth operation of the automatic focusing step drive.
