ColorOS 12 shell for smartphones, tablets and smartwatches is out on September 16

A few days ago, the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo announced that the proprietary ColorOS 12 shell would be officially unveiled in mid to late September, but no exact date was given.

Now it has been confirmed that the ColorOS 12 shell, based on the Android 12 operating system, will officially launch on September 16th. This new skin is codenamed, Da Vinci.

According to the available information, ColorOS 12 will support the inter-screen connection function, loading Windows plugins, instant connection, transferring files between devices, clipboard sharing, syncing screenshots, and messages. Other features will also be added over time.

It is reported that ColorOS 12 has significant changes in the design of the user interface at the system level - it will take as a basis HydrogenOS, and will also use the visual elements of Flyme and MIUI.
