CPU and GPU characteristics of the final version of Exynos 2200 in Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

A well-known network informant under the nickname Ice Universe, who often shares reliable and exclusive information about new products in the mobile industry, has published accurate data on the frequencies of the final version of the Exynos 2200 single-chip system.

We will remind, SoC Exynos 2200 is created jointly by Samsung with the support of AMD, which helped in the creation of a graphics processor for this platform. The Exynos 2200 received a three-cluster architecture with one Cortex-X2 core, which operates at a frequency of 2.9 GHz. Three cores (presumably Cortex-A710) will operate at 2.8 Hz (previously referred to as 2.5 Hz). The platform also received four energy-efficient cores that operate at a frequency of 2.2 GHz. Prior to that, it was assumed that they will operate at 1.73 GHz.

Ice Universe also added that the AMD GPU is clocked at 1.25 GHz. According to an insider, the frequencies of the Exynos 2200 cores are valid for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone. At the same time, the frequencies in the Samsung Galaxy S22 + will be different.

In addition, the whistleblower added that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will support 45W charging (10V and 4.5A), while the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + will receive a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor.

Ice Universe has predicted the announcement of the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP1, 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 and other image sensors from the South Korean company, and regularly reports accurately from Samsung's R&D department. All of his leaks on the Samsung Galaxy S21 have been confirmed.
